UAC shiled but no "protection"
I am logged onto my local workstation with an Admin account (member of Local admins group) and I see a dialog box button with a gold and blue shield on top of it. UAC in action!. So I click on the button expecting to be asked for my credentials. To my surprise that button action happens without asking for any credentials. How can that be? (Does the UAC slider setting impact if a question is asked for a paritcular action?) TIA, barkingdog
